The Cub Cadet XT1 LT50 FAB Lawn Tractor combines powerful V-Twin performance, smooth hydrostatic operation, and a durable fabricated cutting deck for efficient maintenance of medium to large residential properties. Powered by a 24 HP Kohler 7000 Series KT724 twin-cylinder engine, it delivers reliable starting, steady torque, and consistent performance across thick grass and changing lawn conditions.

The 747cc Kohler engine features fully pressurized lubrication, a replaceable oil filter, dual-element air filtration, and a 12-amp regulated charging system. These components support dependable long-term operation while making routine engine maintenance straightforward. A three-gallon fuel tank provides practical mowing capacity for larger yards.

Its 50-inch AeroForce fabricated deck is constructed from rugged 11-gauge steel and uses three cutting blades to deliver strong airflow, fine clippings, reduced clumping, and an even Cub Cadet Signature Cut. The wider cutting path helps cover large open lawn areas efficiently, while the fabricated construction provides additional durability compared with a standard stamped deck.

Operators can choose from 12 cutting-height positions between 1 and 4 inches, allowing the deck to be adjusted for seasonal growth, grass type, and preferred lawn appearance. Four gauge wheels and a deck roller help reduce scalping when mowing across slightly uneven ground, while the integrated deck-wash port simplifies removal of accumulated grass from underneath the deck.

The foot-controlled Tuff Torq K46 hydrostatic transmission provides smooth forward and reverse movement without manual gear changes. The operator simply presses the pedal to adjust speed, reaching up to approximately 5.5 MPH forward and 3 MPH in reverse. Cruise control helps maintain a consistent pace across longer, open sections of lawn.

Cub Cadet’s optimized steering system provides a tight 16-inch turning radius, helping the tractor navigate around trees, garden beds, fences, pathways, and other landscaping features. The cast-iron front pivot bar, robotically welded frame, and corrosion-resistant construction provide a strong foundation for repeated residential use.

Operator comfort is supported by an adjustable 15-inch cut-and-sew high-back seat, rubber floor mats, ergonomic controls, dual LED headlights, and an integrated cup holder. The rear tow hitch also allows approved utility carts, spreaders, aerators, lawn sweepers, and other compatible tow-behind accessories to be attached.

Designed for lawns of approximately 2 to 4 acres with mostly flat terrain and a limited number of obstacles, the XT1 LT50 FAB offers an effective balance of wide-deck productivity, conventional steering control, hydrostatic convenience, and heavy-duty cutting performance.
