A cast-iron cylinder liner, electronic ignition, anti-vibration system, and cartridge-style air cleaner contribute to reliable performance and easier maintenance.

A conveniently positioned no-tools oil-drain valve simplifies routine oil changes. The engine also includes a spring-return choke control that helps prevent the throttle from being unintentionally left in the choke position after startup.

The S100 features a 42-inch Edge™ mower deck manufactured from durable 13-gauge stamped steel. Its deep-deck design lifts grass for a clean and uniform cut, while the smooth underside helps reduce clipping buildup and supports even discharge. Rolled outer deck edges add structural strength, and dual-stage E-coat and powder-coat finishes help protect the deck against corrosion.

Two factory-installed three-in-one blades support:

The TLT200 hydrostatic transaxle provides continuously variable forward and reverse travel without manual gear changes. Side-by-side foot pedals allow the operator to control speed and direction while keeping both hands on the steering wheel. The tractor reaches speeds of up to approximately 5.5 MPH forward and 3.2 MPH in reverse.

An 18-inch turning radius helps the S100 maneuver around trees, landscaping, pathways, and garden features. Its traditional sector-and-pinion steering system gives homeowners familiar, predictable control.
