The Life Fitness IC3 Indoor Cycle Powered by ICG combines the straightforward mechanical feel of a performance indoor bike with integrated digital power measurement and connected training technology.

Positioned by Life Fitness as an accessible entry point into the ICG indoor cycling family, the IC3 is equipped with a WattRate® Power Meter and WattRate® LCD Computer, allowing riding performance to be displayed directly in watts instead of relying only on subjective resistance settings.

The bike uses a magnetic resistance system controlled through a large 300-degree resistance dial positioned below the handlebar. The design allows resistance changes through a simple mechanical control while also incorporating a push-style emergency stop in accordance with EN ISO 20957-10 specifications.

Power from the pedals is transferred through a Poly-V belt drivetrain with a 1:8 gear ratio. Compared with a traditional chain-driven indoor bike, the belt system requires less routine drivetrain maintenance while providing smooth torque transfer to the front flywheel.

At the front is an evenly weighted aluminum flywheel weighing 7.6 pounds. The relatively light physical flywheel works together with the high 1:8 drivetrain ratio and magnetic resistance system to create the cycling response engineered for this ICG platform.

A major feature of the IC3 is the WattRate LCD Computer. Its integrated LCD screen displays important training data including:

The console also incorporates an LED indicator for Coach By Color®, ICG’s color-based intensity guidance system.

For connected workouts, the IC3 supports both Bluetooth® and ANT+™. The bike’s riding geometry is designed to provide extensive personal adjustment. The saddle adjusts both vertically and horizontally, while Life Fitness also provides adjustable handlebar positioning. A 178 mm Q-Factor keeps the pedal spacing relatively narrow for a cycling-oriented riding position.

Pedal compatibility is especially versatile. The IC3 comes with dual-sided pedals featuring SPD compatibility on one side and a toe cage on the other, providing options for compatible cycling footwear or regular athletic shoes.

The steel frame supports users up to 330 pounds / 150 kilograms, while the fully assembled bike weighs approximately 97 pounds / 44 kilograms. Two front transport wheels make it easier to reposition the cycle when necessary.
