Depending on the selected Original model, WaterRower offers hardwood options and finishes including Ash, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, and other selected finishes. Each machine is designed to look at home not only in a dedicated gym but also in living spaces, offices, studios, and other interiors where conventional fitness equipment may appear overly industrial.

At the heart of the WaterRower Original is the patented WaterFlywheel resistance system. Instead of using magnetic resistance levels or friction pads, the machine uses paddles moving through a water-filled tank to create resistance.
